After breezing through high school and trying the same during my first year of college, I discovered that the key to making the grades I wanted was to study at least five hours outside of the classroom each day. To get the reward, you have to be willing to pay the price. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even so, I also had to learn that time for study and writing have to be balanced against the need for a healthy social life and the priority of family responsibilities.
