Many of us on the political right eschew recycling because we consider it one of those "environmentalist wacko" things to do. Christians should be the leading environmentalists and should be serious about conservation and recycling. This is one issue that transcends ideology. Regretfully, folks in the SBC have to endure some high level political posturing and engage in silly debates that seek to produce an official "Richard Land" position.
